Annual reviews

Annual Report 2022-23  (PDF, 981.3 KB)

The Inspector conducts an annual review of the operations of the ICAC, the OPI and the Ombudsman.

These reviews examine whether each of these offices has exercised its powers in an appropriate manner and whether there was any evidence of corruption, misconduct or maladministration in public administration on the part of the ICAC, the OPI or the Ombudsman - or their employees.

The Inspector must also consider whether there has been unreasonable delay in the conduct of investigations under the ICAC Act, unreasonable invasions of privacy or whether undue prejudice to the reputation of any person was caused by the ICAC, the OPI or the Ombudsman.

For more information, see duties and powers of the Inspector.
